I enjoy the Alaskan sockeye salmon that I have purchased from the Popsie Fish Co. I cut the filet to make it thinner so that it can be steamed in about 6 minutes to preserve the omega 3 oils.

My first purchase was for a dinner party of 10 guests. The salmon was a big hit. We grilled them on cedar planks. Delicious. People stated it was the best salmon they ever tasted. It arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. Just ordered another dozen salmon fillets. Can’t wait to enjoy them.

Arrived on time in a well packed, very cold box. Quite an accomplishment with the 100 degree August heat index here in South (USA). I will use them in a couple weeks for a large dinner party. They look amazing in their individually wrapped packages.

We are enjoying the wonderful Popsie salmon, which was well packaged, still frozen, and delivered very quickly. My wife, a marvelous cook, must also be given credit for the scrumptious meal of blackened salmon, salad, and baked potato. A photo of our meal would have been beautiful, but we ate it all without any thought of a photo. Hopefully, we will remember the photo next time.

Fish was well packaged and frozen solid. The quality of the salmon is good. Only one small issue that may have simple been bad luck, most of the fillets I received are very thin.

We still carry on a Slovak Christmas Eve Diner tradition that has probably been in my family for hundreds of years. A meatless evening meal that always included fish. Living on the east coast it was usually Haddock or sometimes cod. Now with the availability of your fresh caught Alaskan Bristol Bay fish the tradition will now only include Halibut, it’s the tastiest, moistest, flaking appart white fish we ever had. Popsie was great to deal with and although the fish was delivered so late that it was no longer frozen I received a refund less than 12 hours after it was delivered. I was a little worried about ordering a few months after season but the sockeye portions I received are great quality - beautiful color, no freeze damage, no odor. The plastic they come in is very thick - thicker than my order from another supplier, and they look like they will hold a seal for longer, so I hope popsie keeps using the same processor/packager.

I received my first box of Sockeye Salmon yesterday. WOW, I baked my first piece of salmon tonight in the oven with lemons, olive oil, oregano, thyme, and salt. It was incredible. This is the best salmon I have ever ate. I have ordered three boxes and intend to order in the future. The only complaint I have is with my last order which took five days to get here and was partially thawed. The previous two orders were solidly frozen.

It arrived with the dry ice melted, which wasn't a problem as the salmon portions were still frozen solid. I really liked the portions, rather than a fillet. I can just pop one out of the freezer in the morning and make dinner quickly at night. So that's a great marketing strategy. I'm sorry I didn't take any photos of dinner. I just pan-fried it in grass-fed butter and a few chili flakes. I suggest you include a note suggesting taking photos/videos and returning them with the review. It never occurred to me to do that. You're doing a great job; keep it coming!
