This Wild-Caught Alaska Sockeye salmon and Sablefish combo box contains two Alaskan essentials for your freezer. Popsie's Sockeye salmon is sustainably harvested, hand-caught by our family in Bristol Bay. It's a full-flavored fish that is delicious baked, grilled, poached, or fried.

Wild Alaska Sablefish, sometimes called Black Cod, is prized for its rich melt-in-your-mouth flavor and succulent, velvety texture. Sablefish has a high oil content and is fantastic when smoked, sautéed, poached or roasted. This fish is a true delicacy.

The smoked salmon is out of this world. Without a doubt my favorite fish - each mouthful exploding with flavor. The Sockeye Salmon is deliciously rich in flavor and texture. The delicate white Sablefish will melt in your mouth.

Order arrived on time and frozen solid. I received salmon and sablefish. Sablefish was new to me, and was as mild and succulent as promised. Both tasted wonderfully fresh, which is a treat for a midwesterner like me. An added bonus is my cat finds the box form the 5lb portion perfect to curl up in for a nap.

I love the concept of buying “fresh from the shore” fish! Wild caught salmon is a different texture from store-bought farm raised, but I believe it’s worth the cost and effort. It’ll take some practice and care to bake it just right, but I’m so happy Popsie Fish Co. showed up at our farmers’ market

We received our Combo order and had the Sockeye Salmon today prepared in a very simple manner using the freshest organic ingredients. The Salmon was great. We look forward to trying the Sablefish in the next day or so. We are excited to have found a source for having great, fresh quality fish and look forward to trying the Halibut and Cod in the future. I hope Combo box options will be available for them as well.
