Teri Robl lives an incredible life in Homer, Alaska. She is passionate about catching, preparing and promoting Alaska's sustainable seafood. She is a self-taught chef, cooking instructor, and food writer. Teri has written regular columns for the Homer News and Peninsula Clarion and contributed recipes to Fish Alaska magazine. Her cooking classes have been conducted at Bear Creek Winery, the Classic Cook, Second Star mansion and in her home overlooking Kachemak Bay. This summer, she spent time as a guest chef at Kachemak Bay Wilderness Lodge.
She reads cookbooks like novels and has hundreds in her library. Every evening, you can find her in her kitchen preparing a special dinner for her husband of 44 years. A lover of nature, she appreciates the beauty of Alaska and being outdoors. Her favorite pastime, though, is being Nani to her grandchildren. Now that she is retired, she is working on a cookbook when she isn't busy in the kitchen preparing something delicious, most likely with seafood.
